Coaches, Please remember that we share the fields in town with other organizations.
If you have the last game of the day please make sure of the following: 1. Goals are moved off of the playing surface up against the fence. 2. Cones are picked up, placed in field bags and field bags are locked in the proper storage area. 3. All trash is removed from the field.

In order to keep both Myrtle and MHS artificial turf fields in great condition for as long as possible, please have all players, parents, team-managers, coaches, trainers, etc. follow these rules and guidelines:
- Absolutely no food or drinks other than water are allowed onto the field.
- No chewing gum on the field.
- Only rubber soled flat-bottom shoes or circular cleats are allowed to be worn on the field. No spikes, no sharp-edged cleats, etc.
- No smoking on the field or in the areas surrounding the field.
- No chairs may be brought out onto the field.
- No pets may be brought onto the field.
- Nothing should be driven into the field (eg. corner flags, portable goal stakes, etc.)
- No spitting on the field.
- No use of the field without a permit from the town or school-system.
These are town-wide rules. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

The Metuchen Town Soccer Club organizes a recreational soccer program that emphasizes equal participation and instruction
for all while de-emphasizing winning and losing, league standings and all-star concepts. Our goal is for children to
enjoy playing soccer while also learning sportsmanship, cooperation and the skills of the game.
The program is open to kindergarten through eighth graders who live or go to school in Metuchen or whose parents work in
Metuchen. The season consists of 10 games which are played on Saturdays beginning in early September and ending in
mid-November. Second through eighth graders also have one weeknight practice per week. There are no make-ups for rain-outs.
Our club believes that education and community involvement are extremely important. That is why our Tony Black Memorial Fund
(named after the founder of our organization) provides college scholarships to Metuchen High School seniors. The Club also
provides new soccer equipment to Metuchen schools and funding for other activities that benefit the children of Metuchen.
We receive no funding from the Metuchen Travel Soccer Club, which organizes Traveling Soccer, or from the Borough of Metuchen.
