This fall the Metuchen Soccer Club is offering In-town Soccer play for K-12. Building off our successful summer soccer camp sessions we will offer soccer play from September 24th thru October 31st

Background:
We anticipate Covid-19 to continue to have an impact on our community until the time a vaccine is available. To that end we are offering a program we consider to be the safest considering our current environment. While our In-town soccer program does not eliminate the possibility of exposure to Covid-19…

  • it does offer our club the opportunity to more closely manage exposure to possible Covid-19 situations
  • reduces probability of exposure to Covid-19
  • reduces chance of abrupt season end dictated by change in status at other communities

Posted by JERRED COOK at Jul 10, 2020 5:20AM PDT ( 0 Comments )

We are opening up registration for the 2020 fall soccer season!

Please click the “REGISTER HERE!” button to the left.

We know there are many questions and concerns about how soccer will work given the pandemic. Please be assured that our priority is to ensure a safe environment for all our players and their families. For now, we are asking you to register if you do see a scenario where you would want your children to play soccer this fall. This will help us formulate plans.

*Note that we are not asking for any registration fees at this time. Players already on a team, Intercounty or Travel, need not register at this time.

Hello Metuchen Soccer Families,

With the coronavirus pandemic still dragging on… the Metuchen Soccer Club is excited to announce our July “Go Outside and Get Some Fresh Air” Soccer Clinics.

Working with our training partner-Soccer Superstars, US Youth Soccer, NJ Youth Soccer as well as guidance provided by the CDC we have designed a program that is both safe and fun for our youth players.

We will offer four weekly sessions (weeks of July 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th) with each session running from Monday to Friday rain or shine 9:00AM to 11:00AM. You can sign up for one or multiple sessions. Player must be in first grade or higher. Each weekly session fee is $120 per player.

These sessions will be held at various field locations in town. Each field will a have limited numbers of players to allow for social distancing. There will be 8-12 players (coed) per coach trainer. Many of you will already know these trainers from the past year. Because of this safety measure SPACE WILL BE LIMITED.

Registration is open to any Metuchen family who accepts “Parent and Player Responsibilities” (see below attached) as well as the “Registration Waiver” (via the registration system)
